laser vision correction

Our expertise with advanced laser technology has helped thousands of patients reduce or eliminate their dependence on corrective lenses. A free consultation can determine if you are a candidate for this life changing procedure.

Custom LASIK—the Gold Standard in Laser Vision Correction

This more advanced and personalized LASIK procedure uses sophisticated wavefront technology to provide a truly customized procedure for your particular eyes—significantly improving the quality and performance of your vision correction.

We are proud to offer IntraLase!  With IntraLase you will get a blade free treatment that virtually eliminates sight threatening complications that can arise with the microkeratome (blade) method.  In addition to safety, your visual results and healing time are greatly improved!

The Difference that Matters

With a wavefront analyzer generating a 3-D map of your entire optical system, your surgeon has a highly-detailed view of your eye that allows higher order corrections and makes the procedure as much as 25 times more precise than conventional LASIK.

Studies show that this precise customization allows patients to experience better vision than is possible with glasses or contacts, reduces the chance of night vision disturbances and glare, and offers a greater chance of achieving 20/20 vision.

The Procedure

Gently reflecting light off your retina with the wavefront analyzer, your surgeon captures the unique optical map of your eye. Once this information is electronically transferred to the laser, anesthetic drops are applied and a flap is created on the surface of the eye. Cool laser light is applied to the inner corneal layer which reshapes the tissue to correct your vision. The flap is then aligned and closed, and the healing process begins. The entire procedure lasts approximately 10 minutes.
